Welcome Faculty and Students,

We are pleased to announce that Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services at MEC are now open to students!

Please read through the Getting Started section for Step by Step instructions.

As the ILL Coordinator, I'm here to help you locate your Books and Articles outside of the CUNY libraries. If you need guidance setting up your illiad account or have any other ILL issues, please contact me via email or at 718.270.4834

What is Interlibrary Loan Resource Sharing

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service that obtains library materials (books and scholarly journal articles) that are not otherwise available from Medgar Evers College and CUNY libraries. We also lend our materials to other University and Public Libraries nationwide. ILL transactions are done electronically through a secure online ILLiad account.

Note: We do not borrow Textbooks.

Please see the Getting Started tab above with Step by Step instructions on how to set up your Illiad account and make a request.

Who can use the ILL service

ILL services are extended to FACULTY and STUDENTS with no outstanding library fines. You must have a current stamp on your MEC ID card and have your library account activated at the circulation desk each semester before you are eligible to use the ILL services.
